Continuing Education offers workshops, seminars, training programs, which are taught in classroom and virtual modalities.

In house: We diagnose the needs of the institution and design exclusively for it, the required training with the respective advice and academic quality that characterizes us.

Seminars: is a modality of group teaching and learning process with the objective of updating knowledge or developing skills and abilities of the participants, on problems and specific aspects of a particular discipline using participatory and active techniques.

Training Programs: aimed at professionals and non-professionals whose purpose is the development and improvement of skills, competencies and attitudes based on the deepening of existing knowledge or new areas of the technical, professional or business field.

Seminars or on-site programs are taught at the University’s three campuses:

Campus Samborondón: Vía Samborondón Km. 13.5
Campus Juan Tanca Marengo: Av. Juan Tanca Marengo Km. 2
Campus La Costa: Km. 16.5 vía La Costa.

Two types of certificates are issued depending on the characteristics of each program or seminar:

Certificates of approval: these will be issued to those who pass the seminar/program when the design of the program contemplates evaluation activities with a view to certifying the acquisition of knowledge and/or competencies. The participant is considered to have passed the seminar/program if he/she exceeds 70% of the academic performance evaluation and registers an attendance of 80% or more.

Certificates of Attendance: Certificates of Attendance will be issued for continuing education activities that include only participation and attendance, when the participant registers an attendance of 80% or more.
Certificates will state the dates of the academic program and its duration in hours.

You should use a laptop, tablet or cell phone, if applicable.

The seminars or virtual programs are taught using the Blackboard platform.

You must fill out and submit the registration form with your personal information, along with a copy of your identity card, and proceed with the cancellation of the respective value through our payment channels.

Payment of registration fee can be made by:

  • Deposit
  • Bank transfer
  • Credit card

Students, Alumni and collaborators of the University are granted a 10% discount on the cost of the seminar or program.

  • For “Prompt payment” a 10% discount is applied on the value of the seminar or program.
  • For groups a 5 to 10% discount is applied.

Before the seminar or program begins, the e-mail address registered on your registration form will be sent from the mail: educacioncontinua@ecotec.edu.ec, detailed information on the date of the course, schedule, assigned classroom, study material, among others.
